'I Am. abandoned' poems
Do you ever have such an impeding thought -and it's generally when you're really sad or passionate about something- that you can't describe. Sometimes you're not even able to form words in your own head to describe a situation.
Have you ever heard the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words"? As a teen I wrote poems that expressed my angst in ways I couldn't speak. These are some of them.
Crushed

The sound was like thunder,
The crumbling of your heart.
I’m all to blame.
I’ve never hurt anyone’s soul
Until now.
The feelings hurts
More than you can imagine.
I hold out my hand again
But my fingers go limp
Against my side.
You don’t know you have
a good thing until it’s gone.
I broke your heart
But you took mine with you too.
I am crushed.
The sun hurts my eyes
Because brightness is so unlike
My soul.
I only know foolishness
And loss.
If I wouldn’t have acted
On my notions
I would smile at
The sun. and at you.

Raging Skies
If my tears were galaxies
The stars would shine brilliantly.
All of my scared thoughts and fears
Would be rainbows
Illuminating by thoughts.
I would sing but not for joy
For the weight of the tears
On my mind
Are too heavy for me to handle.
If the rainbows shone
It would show all of you
The scared me that
You don’t see
Galaxies would collide with
Rainbows
And all beauty
Would be
Gone
